The ConnexRF AC3124 is an FHSS digital transceiver operating in the 2.402 to 2.478 GHz license-free band. It is specifically designed for high-volume OEMs to integrate into their systems, and provides highly reliable RF wireless data communication.
With an operating temperature range of -40 to +80° C, the modules can withstand the harsh conditions of both outdoor and factory applications. Each radio is individually calibrated to assure consistent performance, even at opposite ends of the temperature spectrum.
FHSS technology helps reject interference in RF-hostile areas, while AeroComm's proprietary protocol further ensures data security and integrity. All frequency hopping, synchronization and RF system data transmission/reception is performed by the AC3124.
The transceiver operates in a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint client/server architecture. One transceiver is configured as a server; there can be one or many client transceivers. An assortment of radios is available to suit the varying range and network configurations of stationary as well as portable applications.

Hardware & Software:
The AC3124 incorporates advanced proprietary technology to enable high data throughput, lower power consumption and increased cost efficiency in a small business-card-sized radio. Advanced algorithms allow multiple AC3124 transceivers to synchronize in a third the time of typical radios. Highly precise timing then keeps the radios in sync, resulting in higher bandwidth.
Additionally, AeroComm's large volume production supports highly integrated electronic solutions. Integrated TX and RX functions (vs. separate TX and RX circuits typically used) results in fewer components, higher reliability and reduced power consumption in a low-cost radio.
Certifications :
The AC3124 is approved in the US, Canada and Europe for portable, mobile and fixed/basestation applications. The AC3124 has met all safety and emissions requirements but requires separation from the end-user to adhere to safety standards.

It provides asynchronous TTL-level serial interface for OEM host communications. Full-duplex RF throughput rates up to 170kbps with a range of up to 500 feet (91 m) indoors and miles line-of-sight. The ComPoint Workgroup is especially beneficial for companies or project-groups whose work-areas must be flexibly configurable based on project or situation requirements. Indeed, no matter what the work environment, the ComPoint Workgroup can be configured accordingly.
A further feature of the ComPoint Workgroup is the dual Ethernet ports for the direct connection of two client PCs. In order to minimise installation costs in the Access Point mode, additional Access Points can be connected together in a "daisy-chain" using the two on-board Ethernet ports.
